This is one of my favorite songs from Kirby and the Crystal Shards... I don't know if slowing the song down was necessarily the best creative choice. In doing so you were able to change up the melody slightly, but what made this song great from the game was the upbeat exciting feel. Slowing it down kind of took the "umph" out of it.
I also noticed that beyond a few creative twists on the melody, there really wasn't much "Remixed" in this song.

I just feel a little underwhelmed. But don't give up on music! Improvement comes from criticism and strength comes from your ability to take such criticism. I have no doubt one day you may wow me ^_^

JamesmanNG responds:

to each their own really, I don't think this song was incredible because of it being really fast/upbeat, but because the notes that make up the song make it fun to listen to.

thanks for the critc though ~

It's very chill. I feel like it took a little time to move along, but that in itself isn't a bad thing--would make for good background music for a video game or flash animation. If there had been a sick dub drop this would have been absolutely perfect. (and of course, that's just my opinion)
Still, very good work. I applaud ^_^

You're beats make me actually sound good XD

I just mash my face against the keyboard and hope for the best.

This song is poorly conceived. There is no distinct beat. There is no distinct melody. You change keys and beats so frequently. This is a headache. And I'm angry that you attached my name to this without consenting me. I don't care if it involves my remix of Kakariko. I would've never allowed this to reach public ears.

Love it ^_^

lol YAY! ^_^

Slow to start bu I feel like once you hit about 1:20 this piece really starts to get somewhere; although it did feel like it ended a bit abruptly. Also, the sudden changes in synth types was interesting but cut the flow every now and then. Still, I liked it. I'm going to download it. Pretty good rhythms.

This is not bad :D I love that you took the leap. It's wonderful to hear your ideas come to life, isn't it? And your use of Aryll's theme was brilliant there at the end. Loved it.
I can't wait to hear your skills improve. I sense potential in your music.

I tend to disagree with the below comment.
I really like the dream feel of this. It would've been awesome if you had built on it just a bit more, but I really like this for a menu screen. It's got that air of simplicity... I dunno I just like it. ^_^

DAFORCEFilms responds:

Thanks.

Pretty Good

My initial impression of the Honkey Tonk piano was immediately quelled after the techno section came in. No pun intended, but Great use of the Great Fairy sound effect. However, I would've toned back just a little on the use of the sound effects--especially on the parts where there was no music behind it at all. It was almost hard to keep track of the song itself because of it. But still fairly good. I look forward to hearing more of your arrangements in the future.

AetherFlaer responds:

Awesome, Thank you for reviewing.

Fantastic Job

This is awesome.
The calm feel throughout the song is accentuated by an awesome throb of the melody line--with some short piano and lead solos. This is quintessence of House Music. Very well job done.
