I'm not really sure I can go for this...

I really think I have to agree with the below reviewers.
The song is a Latino style song.
If you had changed all the instruments to rock instruments, it would have made sense. But just changing one section to rock guitar is completely...out of nowhere.
The flute was too soft and we lost half the melody.

But for what it's worth, you really seem to have the melody down. I couldn't hear any wrong notes. I'd just take a look at presentation a little better. Listen to see if something sounds off.

Oh my god.
This was incredible.
I could hear vocals, I could feel the chords as if they were actually physically pulling on my heartstrings.

You must've spent a lot of time playing and replaying this loop, because you've got the melody pretty much down (I couldn't verify if the ending strings were accurate or not cause I haven't played in a long time.)

Seriously, I can't think of anything to make this better.

Something New, Something That Gets Old

Lol! I think it's funny that you said your songs worst part was the tracks. I thought they were great. It's a very epic song and requires pretty epic voices.

I also found it interesting that you played with the tempos, but I think you may have done it just a little too much. After the third or fourth part, it stopped being interesting, and almost border lined annoying.

But props for thinking outside the box.

Off On The Right Foot, But....

You might want to play with the levels of each "voice." Sometimes the melody was too loud; sometimes it was completely drowned out.

I'm also a firm believer in beginnings: the beginning must catch the listeners attention, or they're not going to be listening much longer. If you wanted to revisit this, you might consider adding something...I'm not sure what, it's your piece. But it really was pretty dry.

I will say you got the melody down pretty solidly (well, the parts I could hear anyways.)

So don't give up! This wasn't really my favorite kind of remix style, but you did fine.

10...Melody -3, Beginning -2, Harmonies +2 = 7

I was a little hesitant when I heard the beginning. You know how parents say stuff like "This music is assaulting my ears"? That's kind of what I felt like the first part was doing. Since the tempo was so fast, the harsh tone almost cuts at the eardrum. Points off for that.

But I'm glad I listened to the rest of it, because the harmonies were really enjoyable for the rest of the song.

If you wanted to revisit this, you might wanna brush up and review the song. Some of your melody was incorrect.

But I'm definitly downloading it ^_^ For what it is, it's pretty good.

Someone Has Time On Their Hands

This was really well put together. I can tell just by listening to the detail of this song that you spent some serious time on it.
I was never a big fan of the original song, so my opinion is kind of bias, but in terms of quality, this remix is definitly top notch.
