oooh rockin >.<

Who's singing?
I loved the guitar. Is this an original piece?
Great job ^_^

Thanks!

Yes, it's an original
The middle eight's like the most overused riff ever, but that didn't stop me from using it.
I'd like to say my guitar playing has improved, but that would be a lie.

I'm not sure I'm familliar with this song...

If this is an original, than that explains the fact that I have no idea where this is from.

Everything was well drafted and had great sync, which is very important.
It did feel a little bit dry though; maybe consider switching up some of the voices next time.

Cantosphile responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
Yeah there's something fundamentally wrong with the song, and I'm thinking it's the instruments, too.
If that's what you meant.
It is an original, by the way.

I was like "?"... now I'm like "!"

I thought at first I was gonna have to skip over, because the beginning was a little..."?!?" to me.
But this was pretty bad ass. I'm glad I listened to the whole thing.
I can't give you full scores because, the beginning was actually a little dry, but after you got started you took it all the way.

I've Got A Suggestion...Finish It

This is awesomeXcore dude.
I'd dance to this shit any day. ^_^
I think it would be even better if you defined the bass notes a little more, maybe bring them out; the bass and the beat are the two most important parts of a dance song, and I couldn't really hear the bass melody.
Great job though

EchozAurora responds:

Yeah.... it's finished now... I can't edit the file anymore lol. Unless I feel like redoing it all entirely,..

Who knows.. maybe eventually. Glad ya liked it though! =D

punk rock

Very Nice. Someone obviously has skills with their guitar.
It was very short; I would've loved an extended version. But it was well done, and that makes up for the length.

DeathBasket responds:

Thanks.
It's shorter because I tried to stay close to the original with this one, which is only very short anyway. I suppose I could have improvised a bit though to extend it, I'll bear that in mind for the future.

Yay Serenity

I'm not usually one fore "choppy" sounds, but I really loved the opening of this rendition. Although replication of a real choral sound didn't come through--let's face it: no computer can do what a human voice can--I liked the vocal backgrounds. And the flute meshed well with the other instruments. I really liked this one.

la la la tee hee (>'-')>

haha. I loved this game.
The way you re-did this song is funky. I love it. It kinda makes me think of a really carefree Kirby. Not that Kirby isn't ALREADY carefree or anything...you get what I mean.

good job on this. ^_^

Oooh. Trippy.

I feel like if I was high I'd be singing praises all up and down this bitch.

No, but seriously it's pretty good. If I could give any kind of advise on this it would be to boost the melody a little, because it got lost behind the other parts.
But I'm definitley downloading this.

Pretty Sure You Showed Me This At The Apartment

But this is seriously bad ass.
I could see this in the background during a chase scene in someone's flash.
I like the mix of the violin with the technological sounds, because it doesn't sound forced like it always has the possibility of being.
Straight up 5s and 10s.
When I get my iTunes working again, a 5-star there and on my "Best of the Techno" Playlist.
That's how FUCKIN rad this song is.

DarkLink2000 responds:

lol. Ok. Thanks ^_^ Makes me feel pretty good, although I'm pretty sure you completely 1-upped all my work in the 5 songs you've done. Lol Imagine how epic it would be if we did a collab song?

I Could Get Used To This

I think this song really needs a beat.
The effect of just having the one voice together is great, but I personally believe its only effective if the tones are soft; electronic sounds need beats to even them out.

But other than that, I thought it was good. ^_^

flippicat responds:

Thanks. I agree with you, actually, and I'm trying to find an appropriate percussion sound to mix with the sounds well. If you listen to the original they actually had a castanet-like sound for the percussion line, but I really haven't found one that's even close to that.

For the Love of All Things VG Music; If you have a request, PM me! I'll check it out and get back to you! Thanks for all your support! <3
