This is really good.
It's really well thougt out, not slewn together for the sake of remaking something. And I think the instruments sound pretty realistic as it is ^_^

Thanks, but I really do need better strings, I use Squidfont Orchestral, and that needs amplifying to fit the volume the other I use, which is TGSF21X. The amplification is nigh impossible to reach without distortion. At the moment I'm just using a waveshaper, which I have several preset files, none of which are great. But thanks a lot.

It totally does sound like Wii Music!

Never let the melody become softer than the bass; that's breaking a cardinal rule of a song. The melody is the foundation; you lose it, and you just have notes.
If you want to decrescendo, have both melody and harmony do it simultaneously.

But it kept me interested enough to listen to the whole thing ;)

That's Definitly Dire, Dire, Docks

It sounds really close to the sound of the game, with that underwater instrument effect. Which might've been why I found it a little dull; I like to hear new and creative things, but that's just my opinion.

This was well done. The melody is perfect. You may consider bringing the percussion out more and raising the tempo a little.

But this is not bad.

I do have to agree, that the beat can get a little old.
This almost gives off a "Pokemon Battle" feel.
But its really good nonetheless.

Something New, Something That Gets Old

Lol! I think it's funny that you said your songs worst part was the tracks. I thought they were great. It's a very epic song and requires pretty epic voices.

I also found it interesting that you played with the tempos, but I think you may have done it just a little too much. After the third or fourth part, it stopped being interesting, and almost border lined annoying.

But props for thinking outside the box.

This was really well put together. I can tell just by listening to the detail of this song that you spent some serious time on it.
I was never a big fan of the original song, so my opinion is kind of bias, but in terms of quality, this remix is definitly top notch.

Seriously, I want your mixer if you can add your own vocals.
This was good. It could've been more powerful if there were other instruments.
But you really kept to the game's theme by only using voices.

Oh that Stupid OWL!

Haha The Owl was my least favorite part of the game. His speeches took forever and I just wanted him to shut the h*** up.
The beginning was hard to get into.
After you switched the beat and the voices in the middle--though I thought the tempo was dragging a little--it picked up.
This is the first remix of this song that I'VE heard on the portal, so way to do something different!

Well i looked on the portals top of Video game beats and didnt see anything like this or similar to it... So i decided id go look for it just because i remembered how much grief the owl gave me... and yeah it goes from 160 slowing down to 104 when the remix starts... sounds better i think =D But yeah

At least someone took the time to review it.... people just dont take time to listen but thanks man =]
