I was a little skeptical at the beginning, kind of like..."Where is this going?"

But I've TOTALLY changed my mind after the piece started!

Seriously, I want your mixer if you can add your own vocals.
This was good. It could've been more powerful if there were other instruments.
But you really kept to the game's theme by only using voices.

Not Too Shabby

Very different from the original. I love all the harmonies you added in, but it's hard to pull the melody out from all of it, and that's the melody you're remixing. So just in the future, keep up the awesome harmonies, but don't drown out the Melody. It's what we clicked the "link" for!

Oh that Stupid OWL!

Haha The Owl was my least favorite part of the game. His speeches took forever and I just wanted him to shut the h*** up.
The beginning was hard to get into.
After you switched the beat and the voices in the middle--though I thought the tempo was dragging a little--it picked up.
This is the first remix of this song that I'VE heard on the portal, so way to do something different!

Well i looked on the portals top of Video game beats and didnt see anything like this or similar to it... So i decided id go look for it just because i remembered how much grief the owl gave me... and yeah it goes from 160 slowing down to 104 when the remix starts... sounds better i think =D But yeah

At least someone took the time to review it.... people just dont take time to listen but thanks man =]

The time changes were kind of bizarre and oddly placed. And the base line pretty much stayed the same. All in all I think it's got potential, but I definitly think it needs a "revisit and rethink" before I can give it a higher rating.
But don't give up!

I appreciate you took the time to vote and its not really base just what i heard in the song... i mean i kept listening to it over and over again and couldnt really find any changes other then the ones i put in... so im not sure and i believe its a orchestra.. I forget >.< But yeah im working on it... and a new hip hop song... I think it personally gets better... lol But the time changes wernt supose to be there... >.< dont worry il fix it and repost =]

[The Dearest Docks]

Not Bad

Your tweak of the beat at the beginning was original. And I'd say you have the concept of the song down to the wire with the feel of an oceanic world. The harmonies were well constructed.
It's a well done remix.
I'm just not sure if I'm really feeling it =S
But I'm still gonna download it and give you an eight.

Desperationism, eh?

Our family just seems to be feeling a lot of that kind of feeling these days.

I like the repeating piano riffs; their harmonies really compliment each other. And the beat isn't the "same old, same old."
I think that if you were ever to revisit this piece, you might want to consider taking out the piano riff here and there to switch it up.

But other than that, I'd have to say this original was well put together.
....Is it cans be download time now please!

I wanna say this is from one of the "Mario Party"s.
But I'm seriously drawing a blank.

It's alright. But then again if it's the song I'm thinking of theres only like 20 measures of melody, and then it's a loop, so good job mixing it with so little to go from.

It Just Occured to Me

I've downloaded this song and listened to it a zillion times on my iPod, and never reviewed it.

The whole thing was pretty well put together. I think the only thing that could've made this song better was if it was longer.
So way to be ^_^

This "Frappe" Was Delicious

The first time I listened to it I must've been on "the juice", cause I couldn't for the life of me understand the beat. And now I get it! hahaha I'm just lame like that. So yeah the middle could've been a little more polished, but I really liked the rest of it!
SO DOWNLOADED.

I told'ja! Mixcraft is amazing like that. But it's like 64 buck-a-roos that I don't have. :S Still, I'm in total agreement about the middle. I think if I ever go back and change this, that's gonna be one of the first things to be altered.
