I gotta admit... that was pretty freakin good. :D
I watched through the whole thing... I'm disappointed that it was only him banging his head.
It was good animation of him doing that. But that's all it was, and I didn't really hold my attention to much. If you had spent some time animating some break aways--anything really--it would have been more interesting.
Please keep animating, but remember that repetition isn't enough.
I found that to be entertaining throughout. I WILL require therapy after the tonguing at the end though... XD
I've seriously watched this once per day since I discovered it.
Goldeen's facial expressions are not getting any less funny. XD
Thank you for this.
That Was Awesome!
All the animated styles were of a wide variety, keeping it interesting. And the added bonus of recognizing styles like Homestarrunner, South Park, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Powerpuff (?), etc. was just extra fun ^_^
This was a well put together and interesting flash, worthy of User's Choice. Well Done.
3 for effort, but there are problems to address
There's a few things that I would like to cover here (and I'm going to try to not be as much of a asshole as SHIFT here):
Firstly, in your author comments section, I believe you were trying to be too defensive. Introducing a flash by saying "this is supposed to suck" is never a good thing. I can understand that the animation was intentionally drawn with minimal detail, but that doesn't mean you were trying to make it "suck"; and introducing it that way to your audience is just going to make them go into the flash with that idea already planted in their head. Don't make excuses for your work with big caps lock letters because--not to be rude--but before I even began watching the flash, I was already lowering my standards from you essentially yelling at me in the description.
Secondly, if you were going for lees detailed animation as a style, then that's not something to comment about. However, the sound quality needed some work; the levels were too high and my speakers were overloaded at points throughout the flash, so just keep in mind to check that before uploading. Also, I would've loved to see more in depth jokes from the show--it did not feel like "Poke'mon in a Nutshell" to me. I did laugh when you made the Misty/Ash joke followed by sparkly Brock, but for the most part the storyline and humor felt forced.
BUT--unlike our friend below here--don't stop making flash animations! It takes guts to upload something for critiquing, and although I was not impressed with this one, it doesn't mean that you can't learn and improve from this! What I would take away from this review is that you should remember to think a project all the way through before posting, including the finishing touches like checking volumes. And absolutely don't use your description section as a forum to spout anger at someone who left you a poor review. Keep trying and working at it and you will continue to gain skill.
That is just...
REALLY creepy. I will admit, it doesn't have the same feel as the old 'Salad Fingers', but I was three years younger back then.
This Flash Didn't Make Any Sense
I'm sorry to say, but this flash was poorly created. If you were going for someone on the moon goes insane/gets bored/etc it could be construed as that, but the humor makes no sense, the animation is poor, and the sound bytes are annoying--plus the volume levels need to be adjusted.
This flash does not deserve a single star.
I don't think you understand the joke...
I totally have Gaming OCD; that's why I can never play games like Portal or Minecraft.
:) This was great
That explosion was quite cute
Awesome Double Rainbow reference :D
